Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-29
This policy explains what SEO API (seo-api.org) collects when you use the website, the API, the MCP server or the CLI.
What we collect
- Your Google account name, email address and profile picture, when you sign in.
- The API keys you create, and when each key was last used.
- A record of each lookup: the domain, the channel (REST, MCP or dashboard), the result status and the credits charged.
- Anonymous page-view analytics and any feedback you choose to send through the feedback form.
How we use it
We use this data to run your account, authenticate API calls, charge and show credits, show your lookup history and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
Domains you look up
Domains you query are added to our shared domain dataset so their registration and traffic data can be collected and cached. The dataset does not record who asked for a domain.
Retention and deletion
Revoked keys stop working immediately. To delete your account and its lookup history, email support@seo-api.org.
